Coming home from hospital in Haringey.
Haringey has no large acute hospital of its own, so residents usually come home from the Whittington Hospital in Archway or North Middlesex University Hospital in Edmonton. If someone is being discharged, let the ward know you’re arranging home care and call us. We’ll talk through what’s needed and arrange an assessment quickly.

Paying for care in Haringey.
Haringey Council’s adult social care team can carry out a free needs assessment, and unpaid carers can ask for a carer’s assessment too. If the council contributes to the cost, you can usually take it as a direct payment and choose your own care provider. Visit the Haringey Council website to start.
Hedgerow is an approved provider under North Central London Integrated Care Board's All Qualified Provider arrangements, and we regularly accept NHS-commissioned care packages. Not everyone qualifies for NHS funding.
Many families pay privately. We give a clear written quotation after a free assessment. Our guide to paying for home care explains the options.
