Comfort, dignity and familiar surroundings.
For many people, being at home matters most towards the end of life. We provide calm, personal care at home, working alongside the healthcare professionals involved, and support the family too.

Care shaped around what matters to them.
We take time to understand the person's wishes — how they like to be cared for, who they want around them, the music, the window open or closed. Their preferences guide everything we do.
Comfort and dignity
Gentle personal care, mouth care and repositioning, at the person’s pace and in line with nursing advice.
Daily routines
Keeping familiar rhythms where they bring comfort — a favourite drink, music, a particular chair.
Companionship and reassurance
A calm presence, someone to talk to or simply sit with.
Adapting as needs change
We review care closely and adjust quickly, in step with the healthcare team.
Working alongside healthcare professionals.
Our carers provide personal care and support. Medical and nursing care — including symptom management and medicines such as pain relief given by injection or syringe driver — is provided by the district nurses, GP and palliative care team. We follow their guidance and keep them informed.

Support for the family
We're there for relatives too — giving you time to rest, to simply be together, or to step back from caring tasks. You'll always have a clear point of contact in our office.
Day, night or live-in
Care adapts as needs change. Visits can increase, and where appropriate we can provide overnight care or live-in care, and two carers where assessed needs require it.
Familiar carers
At such a personal time, seeing the same faces matters. We keep the care team small and consistent wherever we can.

A member of our care management team visits — at home or in hospital before discharge — to understand the person's needs, wishes and the equipment in place. With consent, we speak with the district nurses or palliative care team, then agree a care plan with you. We understand time can be short and will move as quickly as we safely can.
Questions families ask
Can someone receive end-of-life care at home rather than in hospital?
Often, yes. With the right support from the healthcare team and carers at home, many people are able to stay where they feel most comfortable. We’ll talk honestly about what’s possible in your situation.
Do your carers give pain relief?
Carers can support people to take prescribed medicines as set out in their care plan. Clinical medicines and nursing procedures, such as injections or syringe drivers, are managed by district nurses or the palliative care team.
How quickly can care start?
We understand time can matter a great deal. We regularly arrange care at short notice, sometimes within 24 hours, subject to an assessment and suitable carers being available.
Can care be provided overnight?
Yes. We provide sleeping and waking nights, and live-in care where appropriate. Two carers can be provided where assessed needs require it, subject to staffing.
Is end-of-life care funded by the NHS?
Some people are eligible for NHS funding, such as fast-track continuing healthcare, depending on their needs — not everyone qualifies. We’re an approved provider under North Central London ICB’s All Qualified Provider arrangements and regularly accept NHS-commissioned packages. Ask your GP or palliative care team about eligibility.
