Different expertise, one person at the centre.

Staying well at home often involves more than one kind of support. Someone coming home from hospital might need help with personal care every day, and physiotherapy to rebuild strength and confidence. Knowing trusted local services makes it easier for families to find the right help.

Hedgerow provides personal and practical care. We don't provide physiotherapy, nursing or other clinical treatment ourselves, so we work alongside the specialists who do.

SMARTPHYSIO

An award-winning London physiotherapy provider, recognised in particular for its home visit service, with a team of directly employed chartered physiotherapists.

SMARTPHYSIO’s chartered physiotherapists treat patients in their own homes and in care homes across London, as well as at clinics in Hampstead and Highgate.

The team works with many older people, including those recovering after a fall, a hospital stay or surgery, and anyone finding it harder to get around at home. Treatment focuses on improving strength, balance and mobility, reducing the risk of falls, and helping people stay independent for longer.

How our work fits together

SMARTPHYSIO’s physiotherapists provide specialist clinical rehabilitation, while Hedgerow carers provide ongoing, non-clinical support at home. With the person’s consent, keeping each other informed can help someone follow the routines their physiotherapist recommends, for example after a hospital stay, an operation or a fall.

Partner organisations operate independently and are responsible for their own services. Any introductions are made with the appropriate consent.
